Hello, this is my first time posting and I hope it is ok to do so. My DD was born in February at 29 weeks and it is suspected that my DD has a mild version of some kind of very rare autosomal recessive disorder (her twin who we lost at 22 weeks was thought to have the more severe form) but we have come to terms with the fact that we may never know what that disorder is. Anyway, she is scheduled for jaw distraction surgery on Monday because she has mild micrognathia (small chin) and it is causing breathing and feeding issues. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this surgery? Thanks!
