I am not a preemie mom yet, but am preparing myself and would love to hear your related experiences. Also, I am sorry to post a subject that probably gets over-posted, but I can't help it. The weight of my twins are getting the best of me, they feel so heavy and low tonight in my pelvic area. I can barely sit when I go to the bathroom. I can barely walk to the bathroom too. Is labor near? I am already 95% effaced and dilated to a 3, so I don't think I am far from active labor.
Anyone else go through a similar situation and make it weeks (not days) farther?
If I call my doctor I don't they will tell me to do anything unless I am feeling contractions or my water breaks. I am a few days short of 30 weeks. Your inspiring stories have helped me calm down a bit over having such an early baby, you are each so strong. Thank you.
Re: Experiences please, early labor near??
If calling the doctor will ease your mind please do so. At least it will calm your mind and not have you up worrying all night which is definitely not good for the you or the baby. I may not be that much of a help to you but I did feel heavy pressure with my LO and it made it uncomfortable to walk. At 35 weeks I was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and had an emergency c-section. LO was born 3lbs and had to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks. Yesterday he turned 10 months and is the happiest little guy you could meet.
