Well besides water...anyone have good drinks for when the water is just too boring?
I try and avoid soda...but I do love the occasional coke. I try and just drink water during the day and reward myself with juice or a soda at the end of the day. I also do love some chocolate milk. ![]()
Re: What we drinking?
I'm drinking mostly water but having the odd orange juice here and there. My Dr is awesome and realistic...she said that drinking is bad if you do it often and too much. She said a small glass of wine at special occasions won't hurt.
Lim not a soda fan. Especially not diet soda as it contains aspartame which isn't good for anybody, regardless of if you're pg or not.
I'm not doing soda this month. To get that fizzy taste DH and I have been having seltzer water with cranberry juice, lime juice or grape fruit juice. It's really satisfying
I also love coke and I cannot wait until June when I can enjoy one.
I make my own sparkling water with Sodastream. It satisfies my craving for soda without any of the bad stuff. Also been drinking lots of ginger ale and pregnancy tea (in the organic section of the grocery store.)

ETA: I've heard putting any kind of fruit slices in with water is great. Watermelon, cucumber veggie, obv, strawberries, limes, lemons, etc. I actually really want to try watermelon as well as cucumber.
ETA: my tea is unsweet and I make it myself, so I lay off the sugar a little more. I guess my post is more of a FFSC.
I am going to be buying myself som seltzer water! I think this would be a great way to stop the soda cravings!

This sounds great...especially because I am seeing a lot of watermelon coming into the grocery store these days.

I like this idea. What's a good apple/water ratio? Like a whole apple to a gallon?
I never drank a lot of soda but DH was a total Dr. Pepper addict. The seltzer water really curbs the fizzy craving.
All of these fruit water drinks sound really good. I think I'm going to do that tomorrow.
I think I am going to have to try that...sounds yummy! Maybe I could convince myself it is a Mojito.
I have just been drinking lots and lots of water!! I am so nauseous that nothing else sounds good. But mint sounds good!
I do 1/2 a big apple sliced really thin in a gallon of water.

I'm pretty much just drinking water. I'll have a half a cup of coffee in the morning. That's about it. Pretty boring. I wish I could make myself drink milk!

I make a smoothie every morning. Usual 2 containers worth to take to work.
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup simply orange orange juice
1/2cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 banana
1 cup mixed berries
It's so sooooo good!! Though somrtimes I really just want a coke or an ice coffee!
That sounds good! I'm going to have to try that!
Truthfully, I probably don't drink enough water and it doesn't help that our area is having a water problem right now with it smelling awful and tasting like dirt.
I have a cup of coffee in the morning (half-caff or decaf) and then either watered down juice or crystal light the rest of the day. I've opened a few cans of root beer my husband brought home but I only have been making it half way through them before setting them down and forgetting about them until they are flat and gross.
