Baby Names

Any ideas?

So we are "barely" pregnant and it'll be a while before we know what we're having, however, dh and I are always throwing names around.  We've both decided if this is a girl, we want to honor my deceased mother by either using her first name, Tanna, or her middle name, Rae, in our future daughter's middle name spot.  There are tons of names that go with Rae.  However, Tanna is a trickier name to match.  I like very feminine, old fashioned names, too.  Any suggestions that we could add to our list?  Thank you!

(oh and DD is Emma already)

  • Matilda, Hazel, Margaret, Alice, Katherine, Lillian, Josephine. Most of those are better with Rae. Tanna is hard.

  • We'll my first thought was Anna, but I have an Emma and though I love Anna, I would think it would be too similiar. I love Rae as a middle name, so that would free up any first name.  Our probably never second daughter would be Alice, with Elsa following, because I love it. Also, Ada, but we used it on our dog!

  • Anna Tanna and Ruby Rae.....Just kidding. I couldn't resist, sorry!

Josephine, Margaret, Miriam, Elise or Elizabeth would work with both MNs fairly well. I agree Rae is much easier to pair then Tanna.
