I have a co-worker that is going back to get her MBA at Yale. It's a program where our company pays for her degree and then she comes back after her two years.
We are making her a college survival kit and I wanted to make her a candy/gift card as well. Here's what I've come up with, but if you have any better ideas/wording/candies, please let me know!
<Name>,
We have mounds of excitement for your next adventure at Yale. Not having a payday may be a challenge and at times it may feel like you're scaling a cliff, but we know you are kind smartie who works extra hard so we know you will succeed. If you ever need a lifesaver we are always here for you.
We hope you have a carefree summer and good & plenty times in grad school!
You (Pop) Rock!

Re: NBR: Need you creative types again
I think that is a wicked cute idea!
I'm the furthest thing from creative, so I am no help, but I just wanted to say I like your letter :-)
Although, my favorite candy/chocolate is Nestle "Crunch", so that's one that I'd want in there haha
Crunch is a good candy bar word - I'll have to see if I can use it!
That's a good one. I could probably work something in about her not having to pay 100 grand for tuition because of the work-sponsored program she's in - thanks!
Take 5 is a great idea too! Maybe I can use crunch and take 5 in the same sentence....something about all this candy will be a great way to take 5 while "crunching" for exams. Thanks ladies!
