My LO will be 3 months tomorrow, he shoves everything in his mouth, he Is always drooling and been more fussy in the morning then usual (idk if that has to do with it) how do u know if your baby is teething?
Fussiness, slight temp, chewing and teething, loss of appetite, trouble sleeping. A combination of some or all of these symptoms. But, if it is just chewing and drooling, that doesn't always automatically mean teething. Babies learn with their mouths, so everything goes in their mouth no matter what. And have you tried keeping saliva in your mouth without teeth? I imagine it sucks.
Ha, but let your LO chew chew chew. It can help cut any possible teeth through. You can usually feel a tooth very slightly sometimes, as when they are cutting they will sort of pop up and down trying to push out. Tylenol can help, but I wouldn't give it unless I knew for sure it was teething.
Between 23 months, the salivary glands kick in and the drool takes over. It's not impossible to teeth this early but I would bet its just normal drool going on. And as PP said, they learn by putting everything in the mouth and this is the time they start becoming aware of their surroundings and grabbing things.
