Waking up early

Up until a few months ago Chloe would sleep till at least 9 every day and suddenly that changed to 7, no matter what time she went to bed (one night she went down around 10 and still got up at 7).  She was tired and cranky till nap everyday.  

Four days ago I was so tired at 7 that I put her on the potty and right back to bed...and she went back to sleep until 9:30!  So I started doing this and she has been going back to sleep!  

Now today she is still sleeping and its 8:30!  Of course the cat woke me up, but still good news!

No point to this really, just had to let somebody in on my happiness.  I hope she keeps this up, mommy can't function on 7 hours of sleep.

I wish 7, or 8:30 was early for me. My child has been getting up at 5:30 since I can remember. Nothing changes it. I wish she was more like our new addition. DD2 sleeps in until 9:30.

Yay! That's great. My kiddo gets up between 7:30 and 8:30, I'm always happier if it's after 8.

You can all kiss my arse :! Neither of my kids has ever slept past 7am... And we consider 7am a wonderful morning at my house! Some days they are up by 6!

My DS usually wakes up until 6:30-7. But he generally plays for a while before calling out for us. If I am lucky he might sleep until 8 but that only happens once in a while.

THANK YOU for posting this. I've been wondering why DS keeps waking up so early lately. I bet it is the potty issue.

I remember those days! lol I think DD started waking up around 7:30am by 2.5 yrs old and now she is almost 3 and wakes up between 6:30am and 6:45am I try to keep her in bed until 7am but it's usually a big fail!

HA!  THIS!  And I have to get up by 5:30 so I can be ready for work before LO wakes up.  I can't remember the last time I got 7 hours of sleep.
