Well, it's official- we are team blue again! DS's name is Sullivan and our last name is a noun that starts with a N. We like Irish names and we like the surname as first name trend, but neither is a requirement. So far, we both like Conrad and Cormac, but a)don't want the nickname Connie and b) one of the meanings of Cormac is defilement, which is just kind of icky to me. What do you think? Any suggestions?
Re: Boy names
I love Cormac. Other ideas:
Declan, Donovan, Iain, Ciaran, Niall, Riordan, Angus, Cavan, Donal, Emmett, Fintan, Hugh, Lachlan, Redmond, Ronan, Sean, Tierney, Kelly, Ryan, Connolly, Campbell, Flynn, Casey, Griffin, Graham
I think Dr. Loretta really nailed a couple of great suggestions for you... Especially if you like the "C" names!
Great suggestions here! I really like Declan and Lachlan the most. All I can think to offer is options for Finn: Finnegan, Finneran, Finneas/Finneus.
Corbin, Eamon, Finian, Seamus, Riordan, Donal, Declan. My husband and I like Irish names too but it's hard because our name ends in -en!
I don't know of you need to worry about Connie as a nickname for Conrad. I know two Conrads and they just go by that. I don't think it's like Tommy or Mike, or one of those nicknames that people tend to use automatically no matter how you introduce yourself.
