Anneliese or Evangeline

Which do you prefer?  MN will be Curry (my mom's maiden name).  Siblings are Charles Joseph and Samantha Helene

We will probably wait until she is born to decide, but I am curious what others think. Thanks!

Love both actually. Evangeline was/is the name DH and I have picked out for a DD. so obviously that's my fave.

I prefer Annaliese, spelled this way. It makes a nice sibset.

Thanks for the feedback!  I loved Evangeline but thought my H would hate it.  I was stunned when he said he really liked it.

I still love Anneliese too, but think I am leaning towards Evangeline because I know my H prefers it over Anneliese

It's beautiful and I like this spelling too. The 'a' spelling makes it look more like anal.

Only the religious nuts use Evangeline around here, so it always gets a huge side-eye from everyone else.

Evangeline always reminds me of the Longfellow poem which is a rather sad story and I can't think of the name in a happy light.

I prefer Analisa to Anneliese, so I would pick that but of your choices, I would pick Anneliese.

I really like both names but Evangeline is really pretty. Although I would probably end up just calling her Eva so I would just use that

I really love both. DH vetoed Evangeline for this baby because it sounds like Evangelist, he didn't want that connection. I lean towards Anneliese more because I love the NN Annie.

If we go with Anneliese we will use the nn Annie!  Also, Josephine was another that was on my short list - love it
