Summer trips?

This heat is making me want to plan an awesome beach get away :P

Anyone have any summer trips planned? Short, long?

    I'm doing a week long trip with DD. We're driving up to NY, then over to ME and then back home. We live only an hour from VA beach and the outer banks,NC so I'm sure we'll do a weekend at the beach.

    Nothing big. I want to go to New England for a couple of days, and we are supposed to be going to some cabin with my ILs in Canada, but it is in August and does not have a/c, and I am going to be miserable and very pregnant, so I am probably going to try to skip it somehow.

    No big trips planned, but several long weekends. We're driving to Santa Fe for 4 days in June (we went there on our honeymoon and haven't been back since). In July we're taking a long weekend up to a friend's cabin, and then another longer trip to Steamboat Springs (local ski town) for my DH's soccer team's tournament. I'll be working 3 10 hr shifts per week, so our trips are planned to minimize having to use any vacation time. 

    BFP: 7/5/10   EDD: 3/13/11  Miscarriage 8/1/10 at 8 weeks

    BFP: 10/30/10   EDD: 7/7/11   Born 7/11//11 7lb12oz, 20 in.

    BFP: 7/30/13  EDD: 4/9/14 Born right on time on his due date! 8lb10oz, 21.5 in.

    DH and I have an overnight getaway planned for the beginning of June - just the two of us.  It's in a city 5 hours away and we'll be going to a concert.

    Our family vacation is to Disney this year, but it's not until September.  We haven't told the kids yet (we also have an 11yo son), because it feels like it's so far away still.

    We might try to do a long weekend somewhere to hold us over until then, but our summers are usually jam packed with stuff to do.

    Apparently some time last year I agreed to go to the beach with my parents.

    As my mom put it she has reserved a house in Avalon, NJ for the "week of 9/7"

    I have no clue how long we're going to be there. I suspect she means the ENTIRE week. 

    It'll be me, Dh, our 3 kids, my parents, my little sisters (two 8yr olds), and possibly my grandmother.
