My serious face may be too serious...

This morning, while gettng her dressed and groomed for daycare, DD (13 months and a few days old) was not too thrilled with the whole routine.  She drew her arm back and slapped my face as I held her.  I gave her what I thought was a reasonably stern look, and before I could tell her it was not okay to slap, she pulled back, cried her eyes out, and began petting my cheek - finally resting her head on my shoulder.  I guess my serious face is a bit too serious....it was enough to cause a meltdown...wow!

Aww, sweet baby trying to make up for it! I've never made DS cry with a look but my serious face is pretty lame.

lol yes my mom who watches our kids did that with dd and same exact thing...she started bawling!  and my mom started crying too b/c she felt so bad.
