I'm a little late in posting this, but I had my NT scan on Wednesday and all was good! Apparently my risk is that of a 20 year old. Yay. Even if I'm almost 41 I still have something young about me
It was great to see the little one. The baby was not cooperating at first and I had to cough, go pee, and they prodded me until finally it moved to the right position. I can't believe I have to wait another 7 weeks for my next u/s. Waiting 3 weeks seemed like forever! Ah well, I'm sure I'll make it through. I just realized we're supposed to be on vacation during my 20th week, so maybe they will do it for me at 19 weeks.
We are announcing to my family this weekend. My parents and my 2 aunts know, but my siblings and my grandma don't so I think they will be excited. Keeping it a secret from them has been easier than I thought. We'll all be at my mom's for mother's day on Saturday evening, so I got t-shirts for my mom, aunt and grandmother that say, great aunt to be, great grandma to be and My baby is having a baby. I'm hoping that everyone will be paying attention when they are opening the gifts so it's a surprise for everyone

Awwww Hijoi, good to see you on here! I can't believe Veronica's almost 1! Jeez we have been on these boards for a long time. For some reason, this post made me think of something you posted what has to be well over a year and a half ago, but you posted a prayer for all of us who were on TTC >35 and having no success. I was sitting eating lunch in Five Guys by myself and I started bawling.
I will definitely try to get it on video, I'll leave that up to DH. If I do it, it will be too obvious.
We are not doing the Mat21 test, the doctor says there is no need since the results were so good. If the number had been below 1 in 1,000 they would have recommended doing it. Are you doing it or are you not able to get conclusive results for twins with a blood test?
