20 Weeks pregnant with my second, question for you ladies..

With my son who is going to be 9 this year I had to have a C-section. I have been having a lot of pain sort of like tearing in my lower abdomen. The doctor said it could be round ligament pain. It is only in the lower portion of my belly. Could this be from my scar tissue? Has anyone else had the same pains?

Yes!  I've had two c-sections, and I've definitely experienced the pain you're describing with this pregnancy.  It started around 11 weeks for me.  I feel it right along my incision spot.  I think it absolutely can be from your scar tissue.

I've definitely been experiencing something SIMILAR. For some reason I didn't have it with my middle pregnancy but it's killing me with this one. I've been racking my brains trying to figure out exactly what it is.

I felt like that during my last pregnancy.  My OB said it was most likely the old scar tissue trying to stretch,  Scar tissue isn't as stretchy as regular tissue, so you feel it pulling more.

Ditto for me, only I also get severe pains, like a knife stab across the top of my belly from 3 previous surgeries, gall bladder bladder removal, Nissan, and bile duct reopening. Those scars are way worse than my c-section. 1st time it happened scare the check out of me, this pregnancy I knew what to expect, still not fun though!
