Reusable TP?

I have some flannel homemade cloth wipes and we cloth diaper and I'm wondering if I can use these for myself for just number 1?? It would save us a ton of money on TP. Would I wash it with her cloth diapers or is that gross? Wash it alone? Does it need to be washed with CD safe detergent? TIA!

You should ask on the diaper board,I know some people wash them with the diapers,and I'm not so sure if you need to use CD safe detergent.and  yes you can use it for your self too.i just made a few PL and I wash them by hand with bar soap.

We don't do family cloth but I think you'd be safe to wash it with any detergent. CD safe detergent is just to keep the diaps from repelling, and I can't imagine that would be a huge issue with a pee wipe, since you're not peeing into it, just wiping.

We do the same thing.  I keep a small wetbag in the bathroom and DD#1 and I both use wipes for #1.  I wash them with my girls cloth diapers.

If you're looking to cut down on TP, you could use your diaper sprayer as a duvet. I don't think it's gross to wash with the diapers but you wouldn't need to launder them with special detergent because you don't need it to be absorbent.

I feel like you mean bidet, not duvet. ;-)
