I just found out that a very sweet fifth grade boy who attends the school where I used to work has had a brain aneurysm and is in a coma.I am just sick over it. This is one of the best kids you could ever meet. I've known him since kindergarten, and he's always been so respectful and kind. He made friends with one of my students (a kid with ASD and not easily befriended) and always went out of his way to help that little boy fit in. I am not sure if it is related to the aneurysm, but I was told that some boys in his class beat him up and did some vile things to him the day before.  My heart hurts that fifth graders could be so cruel as to attack their classmate, especially one with such a good heart. Please say a prayer for him and his family tonight. TIA.
