Cetrotide vs. ganirelix

I was given cetrotide, I was reading about some of the issues with ganirelix. That the needle is so dull and issues with the injection.

should I expect the same from cetrotide or is it different? we do our first shot tonight!

I started out with Ganirelix, but had an allergic reaction and was switched to Cetrotide. Ganirelix was a lot less work but the needle is dull, so I injected in my thighs. The Cetrotide needle is sharp because you have to mix the drug and switch the needle prior to injecting. Also, it takes a little while for the powder to disolve, so I mixed it and then did my other injections first. GL
