I read about it on their website, but I cant tell how it is any different from the regular similac formula. It comes in a green container. Is this just a gimmick?
We used the Similac Advanced to supplement in the hospital. If that's the one you mean then it has the added omega 3 and 6 that the original doesn't have.

I'm not a formula mixologist or anything, but I say gimmick. If the Advance is "Closer than Ever to Breastmilk," why do they need one specifically for supplementing?

Look on their website. Its not called Similac Advance. Its actually called Similac for Supplementation.
