Food Allergy

So relieved

Dd allergy testing came back milk & eggs a little to wheat tiny to soy.

dr was surprised I wasn't.  He wants to put her on soy she's 14 months.  I don't want to since she showed some allergy.  I'd like her to give her system a break then we can reintroduce later.  She's been sick with breathing issues for a year.  Dr couldn't believe it was food allergies she had constant runny nose cough and congestion.  Actually causing fluid in her lungs

No hives or strong reaction to it.  I was the same way by the time I was 4 or 5 I was getting hives explains the problems with weight gain.

Luckily no nut allergy I've switched her to flax seed milk w protein for now with a drop of chocolate dairy free.  In 24 hours she seems already less congested could be prednisone finally kicking in.

I think I should cut out all for 90 days in the meanwhile have full allergy testing then introduces soy slowly but honestly she doesn't have much soy in her diet I'm against it for its cancerous implications.

Any help anyone can offer?

  • I would use rice, coconut, or almond milk. They are readily available at most stores. I wouldn't give soy either just for the reason alone that she tested mild to it.
