Late Term and Child Loss

Getting Back on Track

So AF came yesterday...6w4d after loss. I feel soooo much better! I feel like my body is finally starting to become my own again. Not just an empty vessel that once carried my baby. Like it's on board with my mind now, and they're both prepping to try again. We still have a few more months before we'll actively start trying again...but it's just good to know that I'm getting back on track. Just wanted to share the good news :)

Re: Getting Back on Track

  • Its an emotional moment because of all that it brings with it, but it is a relief that your body is going to continue. Glad your body is healing well.

  • Congrats!! Mine started today.  It's an oddly good feeling isn't it?  Periods usually suck but I am very happy to see mine.  Before I got pregnant with Kayla, I hadn't ovulated in a year, so I am hoping this means my body will start cooperating again.

I am glad your body is working its way back to normal. I am 6 months out and have had some wacky periods since I gave birth. I am always happy when it seems that I am in a normal cycle.
