Formula feeding question

I am starting to formula feed my almost 6 week old. My question is how much and how often? When I was breastfeeding he was eating 3 to 4 oz every 2 to 3 hours. Do I stick with that?

    Keep in mind that formula stays in their stomachs longer, so he may not need to eat as frequently. My 8-week-old eats about 4 oz every 4 hours.
