Hello Ladies - Hope you are having some nice weather (it is currently poring in NYC). Lets hear whats going on with you or maybe you have something you are looking forward to that is coming up.

Sending everyone big major hugs for this coming weekend. Regardless of where we are in this journey, holidays like this are always especially hard. I hope everyone here has found a way they plan to cope with this weekend.

NIFR my update is that I lost my 14 and a half year old lab this weekend. She was my buddy and my little girl. My heart is so broken over her loss but I know she is in a better place.

As for this weekend, I am just resolved to myself that it will suck. DH and I will go to our mothers' graves to plant flowers and then to the triplets graves to plant flowers for them. Since the triplets are buried in NJ, my mom in Staten Island NY and DH's mom in Queens NY - it should take us the whole day to complete our planting. Fine with me because my sister is only concerned with what we are getting her for mothers day and I would rather not see her.

PAIF related - Today marks double digits for me so that does make me happy (even if it is not a real milestone).

As for me, I was planning to drive up north to run a marathon after getting my disappointing beta on Monday.  I thought for sure today's beta would confirm that it's over.  But since I'm still here in my own personal hell, I am undecided if I should run it or not.  We'll see what the u/s reveals on Friday.

My clinic usually only does two and then schedules an u/s as well, but they asked me to check my beta the fourth time because they wanted my levels to be over 1200 before the u/s.  that's when things got shitty, I kind of wish I had left it after the first two or three...things looked good then.  Thank you for your prayers!

update: RI appointment is done, now just waiting on AF to do the next set of tests. otherwise just working hard. I have to do a lot of editing today (which isn't my strong suit) two Master's theses, a manuscript that I am an author on and a manuscript that I am writing. I am thinking froyo break in another hour or so.

mh and i are dealing with both mother's day and the EDD of our first loss this weekend. we are planning to go see a gatsby and avoid all restaurants sunday.

Big hugs for losing your puppy. It's the one bad part of pets since it is so painful to lose them. I still miss my cat that I lost last January. He was my baby. 

I have a question- hope it isn't rude but why do you have to get your sister a gift for Mother's Day?? I get my mom a gift and that's it. Not for my sister or DH's sister etc.. They are not my mother. When did Mother's Day become a "get a gift for every mother and not just your own?"

Non-update update - I'm on estrogen patches and aspirin now and reduced my lupron. Schedule my first blood draw for Sunday. Let's roll!!!

Other weirdness: I've been having a sharp stabbing pain in my left breast (not chest, but breast tissue) since last Wednesday. It doesn't hurt all the time only when it gets bumped or hit or hugged hard. The pain lasts a long time (many seconds) and is very sharp. There is no lump or lumpyness.  It is way different than sore BBs from being PG, but has a similar undercurrent. It could be from my Lupron or from stopping BCPs. I had my period this week too and now I'm on estrogen so there's a buttload of hormones going on. I did have a mammer-jammer in Jan, and that was all clear so I'm not freaked about sudden cancer. I've been doing some googling and it seems like women in their 30's get this and it's often a fluid filled cyst or an inflammation, it also happens on Lupron. Have decided that if it's still here next Wed I'll go to the doc. Has anyone else had this knife-of-fire-deep-boob thing?

PAIF Update:

Still have not heard about the Amnio tomorrow is the day they should call. Had my a/s on Monday everything is the same and we found out we are having a girl.

I am working on mothers day and therefore will come home and in lieu of alcohol having root beer.

my mother (definitely not in her 30's, but still) had something similar that turned out to be a pulled muscle. any possibility of that? hope it stops soon!

Bzeety: I can relate to the left boob pain. It happened to me during my IVF cycle. I never mentioned it and it went away. Probably something I should have had checked out but didn't. FX that it goes away.

I'm mobile so I hope I didn't miss anyone! Sorry if I did.

First AF since losing the boys came on Monday (exactly 6 weeks after we lost them). I'm an emotional mess the last couple of days but life goes on. I have an appt set up with our RE for June 5 to discuss our next cycle. Not sure when we'll actually cycle but I want to get the re-consult out of the way so we don't have to wait 6 weeks once I'm ready to go.

Giant hugs to anyone out there who needs one and for everyone who doesn't (i'm a good hugger).

My lining was an 8.1 yesterday - which is still not good enough for my RE - he wants it a 9.  He told my nurse to tell me he is not taking any chances with me this cycle unless everything is perfect.    So I'll continue on my vivelle and go back next week for my next check.  Transfer should be on the 20th. 

Our 4 year anniversary is tomorrow - I just can't believe that another year has went by with no pregnancy - it really better not be the case by the time our 5th rolls around.

Lol not rude at all! Everyone questions me about that as well. My sister actually started this when she had her first child. I thought it would be nice do I got her something for her first Mother's Day. The next year she told me she used my credit card to order herself her Mother's Day gift. She had my credit card in case of an emergency with my disabled mom and I was at work. Ever since then she has always told me what she wanted for Mother's Day. Last year DH and I just disappeared for Mother's Day since it was so soon after losing our triplets. My sister is very self centered and still doesn't understand why I would do all this to have a baby especially when I have her 4 kids that she reminds me I adore. Hmm, I am 26 weeks tomorrow and still hiding my pregnancy from her. Makes you wonder why?!?!

As for me~  I'm wondering how long I'm supposed to bleed from this, I'm gross.    I did well on my finals despite being a ball of snot.  I'm taking the summer off school and I'm thinking FET in July (if I can get DH on board).  I'll be back to school in August. Right now, DH and I are just loving each other and spending more time together.  It took him some time to come around but it's good now.  ((HUGS))
