Estrace Question

Hi ladies! I've never posted here before, but I see some familiar faces!

We did a fresh IVF cycle about 2 years ago and are doing a FET in June. I'm supposed to start Estrace in about two weeks. The last time I took Estrace, it was strictly an oral deal. This time I read the instructions and saw that I'm supposed to take them both orally and vaginally.

I'll certainly ask my RE about it when I go in for my baseline ultrasound, but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this who could tell me what to expect as far as side effects and such (discharge, irritation, etc).

I took it orally with IVF and vaginally with my first IUI. The big thing for me was sore boobs. Yikes so much worse than pregnancy! I was on also on vaginal Prometrium, so I did have the discharge, but Estrace turned it blue...so gross. I didn't have to cut my pills in half, so I can't speak on that, but they are very small and you would need a pull cutter if you needed to halve your dose. GL!

I had more severe side effects when I took it vaginally. I just felt a little foggy. GL!
