Not sure I agree with all the points in this article, but I feel like this is an underlying assumption/judgement many women planning unmedicated births, home births, or any less "normal" birth experience deal with: It?s a dangerous assumption: that only a woman who doesn?t care about her baby would care about her body and her birth.  It?s damaging and wrong to communicate to women that we must make a choice between ourselves and our babies, because we can?t both matter.
