C-sections

Very sensitive

About two inches above my external incision is very sensitive. It is a burning sensation on my skin. Like my stretch marks are hurting. I think it might be an internal incision radiating?? Anyone else have this or any insight on it?

Crazy and weird sensations, or lack thereof, around/on a csection are normal and common. Some of my csection itches while I also have numbness on the left side. It is also still ever so slightly sore more than a year later.

  • Yep. I still find regular pants to be uncomfortable because they rub. With DD it took over a year to start feeling normal. My ob said this is normal.

The strange sensations went away for me by 3-4 weeks pp, but I'm still numb around the incision site. From time to time, it still hurts if I bump it on something or if my jeans pull on it when I putting them on.

I had the exact same burning sensation, midway between my belly button and the incision, going all the way across from side to side. My dr said it is normal and it's the nerves regenerating and reconnecting. It pretty much went away for me around 4 or 5 weeks pp.
