DH works 2nd shift (used to be 3rd) so we only DTD regularly on the weekend - if I O in the middle of the week when we start TTC, I want to make sure we know so we have baby sex.
Also, with PCOS, I don't always ovulate so I'm tracking it to get a handle on when (if) I do.
TTC sex is exhausting for us. We've been at it for almost 3.5 years between miscarriages and Eli and TBH - were so over it. So if I at least know that only a couple days out of the month are TTC related, the pressure is off in the in between times and we can enjoy it more. If I didn't know what my body was up to, I'd be stressing all month and having more forced sex than I'd like.
I definitely applaud your clearly very healthy sex life, but not all of us have sex every other day, which is what is suggested during your fertile window. With a toddler who doesn't go to sleep until late and is constantly coming in to our room at night to ask questions (I have to go potty, I need water, there is a monster under my bed, etc.), full time work and my Feb DD, I can say with confidence that our sex life is not what it used to be, and we're lucky to DTD once a week or once every other week.
Thanks for the responses. I certianly undestand where you're coming from. (and as a side note, we hardly every do it anymore, so I'll have to actually make an effort when we start trying this summer.)
