Really DH vent

My husband takes our car for work so I asked him to pick up some more formula and return a pack of diapers and wipes because we decided to try the Honest company diapers and wipes. I spends the next hour and half texting me every question you can ask about doing a return while I'm trying to watch our son. Since he didnt keep the receipts he texts how is he supposed to return. I tell him to look it up using our rewards card. He forgot the card but wont ask the person to look it up insists I look it up on the computer. While I'm doing that for him DS gets to the kitchen and dumps the cat water all over himself. I get DS cleaned up then I get another text from DH the wipes were on sale should he return the box their going to only give him $0.01 for ( seriously he needs me to tell him just to return the full price box) DS starts to try to climb the stairs. Catch our son and I get another text asking if he should get it on the debit or gift card (He knows this money is supposed to be used to buy diapers from another store) I remind him and then I get a text too late he's done store credit. WTF he's a smart man he is very well educated I have to handle every thing I feel like asking him to return two items and pick up formula shouldnt require constant contact with me and take an hour and half. I'm just so frustrated right now I could scream. So now I have a store credit card that is not helpful to me right now and have to spend more money to order diapers since out of nowhere DS is getting rashes from everything. Maybe I'm over reacting and if I am tell me. I just feel like he should be able to help out here and there with baby errands.

I totally understand! I feel the same way sometimes. I find myself thinking that my husband is a really smart guy, so how come he is a moron when it comes to most all things baby?? I think us women may have a bit of an advantage due to motherly instinct. There are some things that I think are total common sense that he just doesn't seem to get at all.

Ugh! Men!

i was livid when I came home from my second job (I work full time and teach dance part time) so when I came home I started dinner and vacuumed up the sand in the kitchen because DH randomly decided to dig up the patio one day without knowing how much it would cost to have it replaced!

as soon as DH gets up from picking up Parker, he plops him in the kitchen and goes into the living room.  So I keep cooking dinner and feed Parker his dinner only to find out that DH is asleep on the couch!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I work two jobs, he works one. I have been up all night with Parker for the past two weeks because he's has an ear infection, not him. I clean the house after work, I cook dinner, I feed DS....but do I get to fall asleep on the couch??

i know my husband is a hard working man, but I'm a hard working woman! Men just don't get it!

so true... DH keeps saying he "doesn't know" how to do stuff...

You know what? Men are just STUPID. I get up every morning at 6am, get me and MJ ready for our day, take TWO busses to get her to daycare and then I walk to work. Meanwhile where's daddy and daddy's car? Oh he's still sleeping of course! Then I work all day in retail of all things, walk to the daycare to get MJ and bus it back home. Then I need to feed MJ, bathe MJ and get her clothes picked out for the following day.
Now one would think that daddy could wash the bottles and prepare formula and meals for daycare, or even wash OUR dishes when he gets home at 7 but no. He sits in front of the tv or computer to relax after his long, trying day of working with teens in a youth arts program. I don't even have time to scratch my own butt and he's watching tv o_O ... ugh I can't. I just pretend he's not there most days. I think I'm better as a single mom in my imagination lol.
