First of all, happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our board's teachers. You ladies are most awesome.
And now, on to the selfish purpose of my post. It doesn't look like anything is organized at DD's school to celebrate the teachers this week. I have been a particularly high maintenance mom this week and would like to do something to thank DD's toddler room teachers.
Here's the catch, the budget is pretty low - $10ish each. What do we think? Bake something? Nice card? Flowers? Starbucks gift card with a treat? Any other ideas?
Re: Teacher Appreciation Week
lurker here.
I went back and forth on ideas for a while. our daycare does a luncheon so I am bringing food for that and my DS has several teachers who swap out. So i decided to do a small gift bag for each filled with "pamper yourself" theme. I got them each a manicure set for their purse, tired foot lotion, a mineral bath for stress (1 time use packet), and a mud mask (1 time use). I spent <$10 each.
Thank you!

I personally like the idea of a Starbucks card with some candy or a small treat, but I am a coffee addict so I am always appreciative of gift cards to the Bucks when I get them.
I think a card and either a Starbucks card or some tasty treats. I'm giving DS' two preschool teachers an Amazon gift card along with a box of cookies from the local bakery.
Last year I got them each a little plant (African violet I think) with a note saying "Thank you for helping me grow."
For Christmas, I got them all candles with a note saying something about how they were a guiding light and a shining example.
For Friday I'm making them the alphabet vase and sticking flowers in it.
