i'm super excited...

we're going to have it at our house this year....the house is so clean since we're trying to sell it, and then this way i don't have to spend most of the day travelling to his parents and my parents houses....and be pissed that we spend more time at his parent's than mine....

i told dh i just want flowers at work on friday and now i'm thinking i just also want to be able to take a long enough shower to shave my legs and then go get a pedicure on saturday....

I'm excited too. We have our very own holiday that celebrates us as moms!

Our plans include going for breakfast, then on a walk along the river and I also asked my DH to take my picture with our DS.

I get to drive 3 hours round trip to eat Eggos at my BIL's house, who I hate. What a freaking fantastic first Mother's Day.

Yikes, really? My MIL isn't my BFF either, but being a mom has given me a lot more empathy toward other mothers. Your DH is still her baby. It's not YOUR day. It's a Hallmark holiday on which it would be nice for you to both feel special and to spend some time with your children.
