AW F/u Anemia

This goes way back to two months ago but for those that remember my son was critically anemic. His iron levels were at 5.2 and he had almost no stores. They told us he would likely need lifetime iron supplements.

We started supplementing 2 x a day and last month they dropped him to once a day. Today his levels were normal again and we were told we can stop supplementing!!!! I'm so proud of him! The doctors are shocked too!

I may ask for a heel prick at his one year well check just to feel like it is real!!

Thank you! We were so sure he'd need it for longer that I have several bottles of iron left over. Oops. There's always a chance things will change but today we are celebrating the victory!
