First world problems

My landscapers used to come once a week last summer to mow, edge, blow off sidewalks, weed flower beds etc. This year a new company is doing it and they are here 5 to 6 days a week during NAPTIME arghhhhhhhh!

What's your first world problem/annoyance??

That really stinks Jesse! 

#1. My sick daycare kid.  I am so sick and tired of him being sick and tired. Mid March he was out of daycare for an entire week due to Roseola. Two and half weeks ago he was also out of daycare for an entire week with some unknown virus. I work from home 3 days a week and each of those times I just ended up working from home the entire week.  This last stint was awful.  I was having a huge product launch and it was my busiest time of the year trying to work with a sick clingy toddler. It was my most trying moment of being a working mom but somehow I got through it.  

Now yesterday he slept in until 10:30am. 10:30!!! Most moms would jump for joy but I knew he must of been really sick. Took him to the Dr. and he has friggin croup. Yet another friggin virus. This is going to be another very very long week. I feel so bad for him.

#2. Back in March I was in a car accident.  It was a minor fender bender for me but, it was part of a major 6 car accident which resulted in one of the drivers being paralyzed. On Friday a police officer came to my door with a subpoena to appear in court to testify for the accident. This wouldn't be a problem except the court hearing is during my vacation!  I haven't taken a vacation at all since before LO was born. And I haven't had any time off other than sick days here and there. I am writing a letter to the judge asking if I can either give my testimony by phone, on a different date or a mailed in written statement.  I am really hoping they comply because I was so looking forward to this vacation. We need it badly.

I know I must sound like a whinny biotch because I should be thankful that me and my family were ok. And believe me I am. It just really sucks how much one stupid idiot can affect so many other peoples lives, big and small.

My mom and I made a big purchase at Kohls together so we got $70 Kohls Cash. She wants to use it all for a wedding shower for my sister. My sister isn't even engaged!!!! C'mon, give me the money!
