I have mine next Monday. I'm wondering what to expect!?!?

please tell me they are not going to be all up in my lady bits!?!?!? I have not emotionally recovered from childbirth! Haha.

Bad news JB.  They are going to be all up in your lady bits.

Well, maybe not all up in there, depending on how things went for you.  But they will definitely be checking things out.  They'll also probably talk a little about b/c and PPD.  They should also release you for physical activity.  Though you might not want to tell YH that yet.

I had a c-section and they checked out my incision, so I'd think they'd be checkin' you all out!  But besides that, it was mostly talking about birth control and how I was doing physically and emotionally.  It was pretty quick.

I got the double whammy, checked out my incision and I swear my uterus one too, also all up in the lady bits because I did push for over 3 hours. It wasn't bad though, I was still a little swollen from pushing but of course no tears/stitches for me either so I can't say if that hurts or not.

Oh yes, all up in your lady bits! I was terrified but it didn't hurt at all! I swear! I had to have a few stitches which is where my fear was coming from. I was close to being due for my yearly visit so I also had a pap and breast exam. I told my doc to be careful because there was a good chance I was going to leak breast milk on him; thank the lord that didn't happen!! He also brought up bc but because I'm ebfing and he remembered we didn't get pregnant so easy, he was fine with me not choosing to use bc right now.

Mine is on Thur. I am terrified to go in. lol. I still have some stitches that haven't dissolved yet & I don't know if they cut them out or just continue to let them dissolve on them on their own. I guess I will find out! If she comes at me with scissors, I will be running away though (I had 2 episiotomies & a 3rd degree tear)

i had the same thought on the milk!!!! Oh dear god no please!

i pushed for 3.5 hours and was really swollen so I am guessing I'm going to get a full on looksy! On the bright side if it really is as painless as you all say, it may be a good ice breaker for some sexy time! Lol!

Apparently I'm in the minority but mine hurt. I had an emergency c-section but I also had... um.... damage.. from pushing. I tore significantly and had quite a few stitches. Most of my stitches did not dissolve so they removed them. That part was painless. They did a general "look" up in there and the speculum really hurt. They also checked my incision.
