belly bandit vs tauts

has anyone tried the belly bandit or tauts by brooke burke?  does it actually help after you've given birth?  which is better?  both didn't seem to get good reviews on amazon.  a video i saw said you should wear it as soon as you give birth, but what if you have a c-section?  wouldn't it be bad to wear it because it's hurt or irritate the stitches?

I used the belly bandit and think it really helped. I started using it while still in the hospital (about 36 hours after delivery) but I had a vaginal birth. I wore it for a few weeks following and my stomach went back really quickly. I hated the jiggly belly feeling so having something hold me in made me feel better.
