After my hysteroscopy, which removed at septum, an IUD was inserted to keep the uterine walls apart while I was recovering for four weeks. Today I had it removed. My doctor said to expect mild cramping to no pain. Ouch! I'd say it was severe cramping. It made me question natural child birth. Almost two hours later, I still feel discomfort. I wonder what went on in there to cause so much pain.

Re: Ouch! IUD removal
Sorry to hear that the removal was so uncomfortable...The good note is that you are ready to move forward with the next step in becoming a mother!
Best of luck.....
