Cravings and Mood Swings

Hello Ladies,

Hope your weekend was well.  Just turned 7 weeks. Yesterday, I had major cravings for Mexican food, specifically from El Torito.  But, I was extremely tired so I did not want to go.  My husband was giving me a hard time about going to get it because it is not particularly close to our house.

At about 630pm, I am exhausted, have not prepared anything for dinner and my husband has the nerve to ask me what I want to eat when I have been telling him all afternoon what I wanted to eat.  Then at 7pm, I had just had it.  I broke down crying stating it is not fair how tired I was preventing me from doing things I wanted to do.  I pretty much was in bed all day.

At about 720, he went and got me El Torito.  Got to love my husband.  I feel bad now that I think about how dramatic I must have been yesterday.  Fatigue, mood swings and cravings are a Bit#@h!

Just thought I would share.  Hopefully I am not alone. Stick out tongue

You are definitely not alone! I have been feeling the same way recently! Mood swings have been making me feel crazy, and I have a tendency to snap on my husband because I feel like I shouldn't have to tell him something I've told him earlier in the day lol. I sleep every chance I get.

Oh the joys of pregnancy lol.  :)

  • Last night I made salmon cakes, but they wouldn't hold together for some reason.  And then my husband was trying to talk to me about something while I was trying to flip them unsuccessfully and they were falling apart.  I starting screaming at him (I'm not sure about what) and getting way more upset than any person should rationally get in such a situation.

Like you, I'm lucky to have a husband who can deal with me when I get like that!
