I don't know if this is a rash or baby acne...Help!

He has it more on his left cheek, but also on his right, and I notice it seems to be on his head, ear and neck as well, but very light.  This is the worst of it.  Any advice or opinions would help.  I dont know if I should call the dr yet.

I can't see it either but DD has it really right now on her face, neck, ears and chest.  Heres a pic but its much more red than it looks in the pic

Thanks for posting.  ANd you said your DD has baby acne?  Have you been treating it?  DS's looks similar.

Yeah, it's just really bad baby acne.  I haven't done much.  I did put a little breastmilk on it (suggested by a friend) and the next day it looked considerably better but who knows if that's what did it.  It was reeeeally bad for about 3 days and now it's getting better and better, though it's worse on her chest.

If it doesn't get better within 2 days with breastmilk you might want to have it checked.  I thought my LO had baby acne (tried the breastmilk trick to no avail- so I called ped) and the ped just diagnosed him with a yeast infection.  So now he is on an antibiotic.  Hopefully you have a better outcome than we did.

Looks like the baby acne mine had. He got it about 3 weeks ago and it escalated to what your LO's looks like and then gradually started to get better. I just wiped with a warm washcloth each day and now that its been drying out, I've been using baby aquaphor once a day too. It looks so bad, but apparently from what I've read isn't painful for them. Poor babies.
