I did it! (Longish)

I achieved my goal of a natural birth yesterday with the birth of my baby girl Charley!

my water broke during a showing of a home -I'm a Realtor. I went home as I wasn't gushing, just sporadic water business.

i had no contractions so I hung out at home and called a neighbor over to come hang out while hubby worked on finishing our rehab duplex... She said I need to call triage, I did and popped in a pizza - who knew how long it could be and I didn't want to starve.

triage told me that since,ynpregnancy had been great, it was fine wait a few hours.

i hung out with my neighbor, took a shower, my parents happened to be in town, so they stopped by.

by 320 I was tired of leaking. Hubby came home and we set off. I made it to triage at 4 nd still wasn't feeling any contractions. Little did I know that the monitor was measuring them 3mins apart! From 415 pm, life got busy!

my contractions didn't build it, it was 0 to 60 in no time! I labored a bit in the tub and was checked around 730. I was 9-10 cm and go time arrived.

I have no idea what happened between then nd 939pm gn sage was born. I think spaced it all. I have sore muscles and a 2nd degree tear and a gorgeous baby girl!

Charley was born drug free at 9:39pm on May 4. Weighing in at 7# 2oz and 19" long.

cool fact : this mama was born, the same measurements on may 7th, we are just a few days shy of being 35 years apart!
