My daughter was born at 32w, 1d. She was in the NICU for 19 days and was healthy until the week she started daycare (actual age 5 months). For the last 3 months now, she has had an endless bout with a cough or cold. Only had a fever once, the rest of the time it's just excess mucus which makes it uncomfortable for her to breathe and she oftens chokes on her bottles. She's been on a nebulizer/albuterol for quite some time. Tested for allergies, that was clear. Done 2 rounds of antibiotics. Now taking a steroid inhaler. What next? Not sure if this is due to her being a preemie... Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry about sounding like an annoying salesperson. I hope I at least partly solved your problem- I can't get rid of your baby's cold, but I can help you make it easier for her to breathe.
Now I'm worried few getting punk eye because his eye was all goopy today. Ugh.
If your preemie doesn't have other health issues, then I'd gander it's regular daycare illnesses. Full term babies often get sick a lot the first year in daycare. It sucks, but just something we have to get through. Good luck!
