TTC after 35

Seriously!!??! (NBR)

Sorry.  I'm going to vent.  It's not really TTC related but relates to my last post about losing some weight.

I woke up this morning to 2-3 inches of fresh snow and it's still coming down.  Seriously.  SERIOUSLY!!!??!  My entire yard is still covered in snow....there was some hope for a bit and it did start to melt but everything is covered once again.

This is the all my fault.  I blame myself.  I wore flats yesterday and DH and I were planned to go on a run this morning.  Mother Nature is punishing me every way she can.

Anyway, I just had to get that off my chest and I refuse to do it on FB like everyone else. :)

I guess it will be the treadmill at the gym today...

  • Sorry but your post made me giggle! I can sympathize with you, I have on a few occasions worn spring/summer clothes because the calendar dictated it, although reality didn't.

  • Sorry...Like Heather said, your post made me giggle a bit, being up here in the Great North of Canada.....we were canoeing in 23 celcius weather enjoying the day and usually, we would be joining you in these cold front parties....hopefully, it will quickly pass and the Spring will finally get on with it!  :)

  • Where do you live? 70 here in NJ!
  • Im in Alaska.  It's been 9 straight months of snow cover.  This was a loooong winter even by our standards.

Temperature lows don't bother me.  We go outside every single day no matter what.  But the soggy, muddy mess that comes with snow at 34*F/1*C just makes me batty.

I'm over it now.  I haven't had a weather tantrum in years - we usually just carry on no matter what but yesterday I just flipped out. I just have to remember that it keeps the dust down and helps everything turn green faster once the buds are on the trees.
