Odd group of family names in paper

I was reading the obituary section, and some man named Rah.maan just died. His surviving siblings were listed as Ramon and Ra.himah. His children were listed as Rah.maan Jr., Rah.mya, Rah.keemah, Rah.keem, and Sharon.

(periods for googling. Don't want these crazy people tracking me down.)
