so my 6.5 month old will only go to sleep at night for me! he gives my husband such a hard time! im hoping its just a phase...AND when you put him down in the crib, could be snoring, he immediately wakes up and starts moaning...we've just left him there a few times and within minutes he puts himself to sleep but others ill pick him up and rock him ...sometimes i have to do this 3x!  anyone else having this issue?  only a few short weeks ago, i could put him in the crib and he'd be set! lol

growth spurt? teething?  

DD has issues with anyone but me putting her to bed also. I think I'm part of her routine, and babies love routines.

I was having the same problems with DS for the past couple of weeks. I finally checked out the Ferber book from the library, read the suggested chapters, and followed the plan just as it is written.

I can't believe how easy it worked. We're on day 3 of it, and I can now put LO in his crib drowsy, and within 3-10 minutes he is asleep. No more rocking to sleep. And rarely does he cry.

I was very afraid of the Ferber method, but only on the first night did he cry, and it wasn't even for 15 minutes.

I hope you find a solution that works. I know how difficult it is.
