miracle blanket or halo sleepsack swaddle

does the miracle blanket and halo sleepsack swaddle serve the same purpose? anyone have any preference? any info would be greatly appreciated!

We had both and I greatly preferred Halo. Miracle blanket had too much fabric IMO and I liked the velcro on the Halo ones.

The Halp sleepsacks with the swaddle wings were fantastic. Super easy and required almost no effort to get a good swaddle.

I started with miracle blanket. If you have a very colicky baby, that thing is a life saver. Then I moved on to a woombie until DS started rolling. I really liked the woombie too. They make a convertible one with arm hole option which helps to wean the swaddle.

I loved the Miracle Blanket and didn't care for the Halo sleepsack.

Dd didn't do well swaddled unless her arms were pinned separately by miracle blanket. That thing was our lifeline!

i used the halo sleepsack swaddle cotton .. and loved it..DS slept in it for 4 months.. i am not a fan of the fleece one though

I preferred the miracle blanket over the halo.  I don't think I would have minded the halo one if dd didn't have to sleep on an incline. As she slid down the incline the halo sleep sack swaddle arms stayed put and ended up covering her face.

I haven't used either yet, but the miracle blanket was highly recommended to us by one of DB's coworkers. She swore by them so we are going to try it.
