I asked for a necklace with LO's picture in it. Our photographer sells them. They are super cute and something fashionable that I'd wear with any outfit. The picture charm is magnetic and can be changed out.
I plan to have breakfast with hub & babe. Once its over, I do not want to see them again til the evening.
A day without family. I can do WHATEVER I want!
Now the question to myself is....what should I do?
Going shopping seems so regular, spa treatment should not be special occ in my book, lunch with girlfriends? Possibly sitting at a bar drinking a glass of wine? Simple things in life seems so much of a treat with an attachment. teehee
Our place has to be in a clean condition. NO WAR ZONE, please.

I've gone to the spa for the last couple years. This year, I'm going for a fancy pedicure and cupcake/coffee date with my best mom friend. I did ask my husband to get me the hanging jasmine basket that I saw at Whole Foods, as well, but we don't normally do presents so I doubt he'll remember.
We don't do presents for this kind of holiday really. I do usually use it as an excuse to justify getting a pedicure or something like that when I have time.
Same here. DD makes me a card while DH makes me breakfast and I sleep in. I really just want a little quality time with them and a little time to myself.
I'm also a big fan of gift cards. When DH and I go out to dinner, we easily spend over $100 and having a gift card makes me feel less guilty about ordering that extra drink or dessert.

Our first mother's day, I got a card and breakfast (and then had to host our parents for a BBQ dinner). This year I requested that I don't have to entertain anyone. If they insist on getting together, it's not going to be here!
And, I asked for an Alex and Ani bracelet with DD's birthstone.

I asked for a few random things:
A Wii with wii fit
A compost bin
clothes
a pedicure
LOL JUst things I have been thinking lately that I'd like to have.
FET: Success! Beta at 14dp5dt: 2427 TWINS!!
New Camera strap.
Ring with Reid's name
Running socks.
New bag.
To sleep.

We don't do gifts for this kind of thing. I just want a nice breakfast and a card each year.
But this year DH is deployed and sent me a rather expensive Coach purse and a case of wine. It definitely made me smile!
