Ladies who had a spinal...

Is it normal to still be able to feel exactly where the spinal went in 6 weeks post? It almost feels bruised when I move the wrong way.

    I had an epi (pushed first for 3+ hours before the c/s) and I still feel pressure there if I lay on my back too long and I'm 9 weeks PP tomorrow. I think it's normal to feel something there at times for a while.

    I don't recall feeling it in the exact spot -- but I did have some very painful back muscle spasms the first couple of weeks PP. I'm not sure why.

    I had a spinal and don't remember having any pain/pressure/odd feelings pp because of it. Id give the doc a call just to be safe!

    I'll echo this as well.  It can't hurt to see what the dr. says.

    There was a student in the OR when I went in and they stabbed me twice while doing my spinal.  Jerks!  But no, I never felt any pain or anything afterwards.

    I had an epi with DS1 (vaginal birth) and a spinal with my twins (c/s), I never felt anything after the fact.

    That does not sound normal. You should definitely bring it up with your doctor.

    My csection was almost 11 months ago and the spot where my spinal went in STILL hurts whenever I get a back massage.
