Toxic shampoo... Never knew!

So a friend just told me that Johnson and Johnson baby products contains toxic ingredients quaternium-15 and 1-4 dioxane.  Soooo looking for a new shampoo that doesn't contain these but doesn't break the bank...any suggestions?

I use Shea Moisture. It smells nice and I get it at Target. Love it!

Dr. Bronner's baby pure castille soap.  It's what my entire family uses for shampoo, bodywash and handsoap, plus I use it for cleaning (I buy the fun essential oils ones for cleaning, but I only use the plain one on LO and myself).

We baby's he earth mama angel baby line. The shampoo is not tear free but we at just careful in the bath. I love that it's safe for baby.  We also dumped all the j&j products.

We use the same.  I always check out skindeep.com before purchasing anything new.  They will tell you what chemicals are in our shampoos, soaps etc.  J&J were also using formaldihyde... not sure if they removed it or not since I dont use it.

JJ are moving to remove those chemicals, but have til 2014 to do so, and have other stuff in them that rates poorly on skindeep. Still a pass for me. I like burts bees, but it's a little pricy. I use Dr Bronners diluted in foam dispensers for hand soap, and I've been using that for LO until I buy more of her burts bees shampoo. The big bottles of Dr Bronners last a long time.
