Induction Scheduled

Due to a mild case of preeclampsia, my doctors have decided to induce me at 37 weeks. I hit 37 weeks on Sunday, May 12th so my doctor said he would bring me in on Monday the 13th to begin induction. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that in just over a week, I'll be in the hospital waiting to meet our LO. I'm so excited but so scared. I never imagined scheduling my baby's delivery and I'm scared that it will end in a c-section instead. I suppose I just need some warm words of encouragement!

Aww you better have an awesome Mother's Day the night before! I'm a FTM so all I can say is good luck and congrats on meeting your LO. I hope everything goes well for you!

Try to stay positive. I know it's hard. Think of the exciting stuff. Everything will be fine.

You'll be okay! I was induced with DS1 for pre-e also. It was a long labor, but didn't need a c-section. Think positive about it, and know your LO will be in your arms soon! How exciting!!

Good luck to you! I'm in the same situation right now, but most likely won't deliver until June still since 37 weeks for me is beginning of June, whereas I was originally due at the end of June. I don't have an official induction date scheduled yet, though.

Good luck to you! I have no experience, but stay positive and at the end of the day, you'll have your LO in your arms!

Thank you everyone. My hubby is super supportive but it's always nice to hear encouragement from other mommas.

Mine will be the week of he 31st ...I feel the same way. You and the baby will do fantastic .
