Art supply storage

Does anyone have any good ideas for art supply storage?  Lucia's just getting into things like this, so we recently got her crayons and chalk, a notebook and next will be paint.  I'm trying to figure out where to put it all.  What do you do with yours?

We got a cubby shelf from target.  It is 2 shelves that is divided into 6 sections.  It was like $30-40.  We also bought canvas bins to go into each section.  I have one filled as a sensory bin, one for musical instruments, one for play-doh, and one for art.  The other 2 aren't filled yet.  It was cheap so I don't mind if it gets ruined, but it actually doesn't look terrible in the living room!

  • I think I'm just going to get a Rubbermaid plastic 3 drawer storage thing. That way if he paints on it or spills something it'll be easy to clean and won't be a waste of money if it gets trashed.

  • I got a cart from Michaels on black Friday. It was originally 99 but on sale and with a coupon I got it for 12. It has 10 drawers and every 2 drawers is a different color. We have crayons, paint, paint brushes, crayola colored paper, markers that only work on special paper, scissors from Melissa and Doug that can't cut you and those special crayola animal markers that work on special paper as well
