I am going to try not to make this tl;dr.
At 8pm Tuesday night we were trying to get LO to sleep and she rolled over in my arms, stiffened up and her eyes were darting back and forth like when you look out a window in a car. It happened two more times in 10 minutes so we rushed off to the ER, got sent to a children's hospital and got admitted. They did a bunch of lab work and an EEG. It all mostly came back normal.
They think she got into something, like ate a pill or a chemical of some sort, and had seizures because of it. They are not ruling out a seizure disorder and they will keep an eye on her for a while through appts and more testing. We were able to come home last night but now I am paranoid. I am trying hard not to be but we are already so careful I don't know what more we could do.
Long story short Kid had seizures and they think it was because she ate something like a pill or chemical. It was so scary and now I am trying so hard not to be paranoid while still trying to keep her safe.
for mobile users she is a little over a year old

Re: Short Hospital Stay
How scary.

My first thought was the tox screen too but that makes sense. They can't screen for every single thing.
Maybe go through your house and do a deep clean/kid proofing check. Maybe DH or other family could take her for an afternoon so you can check the house top to bottom. I know that would make me feel better.
