Um, yeah, I just got here.  I know you are brighter than that.  There are a lot of women on here that are smart, witty and hilarious.  I just don't think the GIFs are as genius as others do.  I enjoy them on occasion, but it's starting to be overdone.  Like I said, a well played GIF can be genius.  Not everyone is at that level.

Speaking for myself here, but I rarely gif when a question/issue has been posed.  I always try to respond and continue the discussion.  I think the gif-warring starts when the post becomes repetitive and there is no conclusion in sight because the OP (not necessarily CV) is not listening.  I agree that there have been a lot of gif-ridden threads lately, but most of them have originated from a dead horse beating topic or OP.

Not that you haven't posted "non-genius" GIFs, but you are also capable of offering more substance than a pic or GIF.  I'm not saying I don't like or appreciate GIFS and that there isn't a time and a place for them, even en-masse.  BTW, I thought the GIF-ing on the spanking thread was awesome I would put that in the well-played category.

I am non-controversial.  I was a lurker on this board but a regular on another board with people that I am in a FB group with.  Without going into details, there was some craziness in that group and a couple people are no longer a part of it.   I don't like to do much with that old SN because you never know who is out there.

I have enough confidence in your intelligence to assume that you know what I meant about using your 'real' name, meaning your main SN versus an AE. I've actually given my first and last names, and the city I live in in various posts throughout the board, so if someone was really stalkerish, they'd know who I was. And I post a real photo of myself with my face exposed every HDBD.

I have no beef with you, I was just questioning your very vague references to needing to remain anonymous. You've explained. The end.

Gotcha.  No beef with you either.  Aunt Edna lived in Coolidge, Kansas, not sure if that is Jayhawk territory but I'm sure she would think you were cool.  

In retrospect, it was probably a bad idea to use this SN.  I drew more attention to myself than necessary.  I should have just come on as a regular SN and no one would have noticed.  Damn me for thinking I would be funny....

Secondly, if anyone finds a gif party annoying, take note of the thread title and don't open it again. Lastly, who are you, you is a generalization not speaking to anyone in particular, to judge what gifs are clever, creative, funny, or genius.

Follow up question, is it ok with you if I post gifs in the future?

It's spring time, it's beautiful outside, my idea of a non alcoholic beer sticky post was fantastically overrun by all this cattiness, and also, MOST of all, this is our second trimester ladies!!! We have lots of stuff to be doing to prep for baby and also get summer going on, so can we keep our heads on and leave the aimless fighting for when we are too big and hot to do anything else?
