Early Riser

Ugh - anyone else have an early riser? My LO won't sleep past 5:15 ever. I've tried earlier bedtimes, later bedtimes, trying to put him back down... I think that may just be his natural pattern so I don't try to fight it anymore, but anyone have success with anything?
Sept 2013 started TTC#2 (never got PP period so hoping for the first egg to drop)
Jan 2014 - diagnosed POF (Premature Ovarian Failure) and told pregnancy not possible without egg donor because my ovaries would never function again with my hormone levels (FSH 136, LH 98.6, AMH <.03, estradiol 0, HCG 7) - using acupuncture, chiropractic care and TCM herbs / supplements
March 11, 2014 ovulated despite every doctors prognosis!!!
Oct 2014 hormones (FSH 48, Estradiol 89, HCG 1) not good, but heckuva lot better!

Nov. 16, 2015 FET of single adopted 5AA embryo - BFN

  • Mine had been making it to a reasonable 7-7:30, but since we moved him to the crib it's 6-6:30. I also noticed all his MOTN feedings bumped up an hour earlier since he went into the crib, too. I'm hoping it's just an adjustment thing and he goes back to what he was doing when he was in the RnP by our bed.

  • I wish I did! DS is up at 545 am on the DOT everyday, no matter how I try and work his naps or his bedtime. I kept thinking 630 seemed so early to put him to sleep but doesn't matter whether I try later or not. 545 bam! He's up. Lol. I'm ok with it if he STTN but that's not happening yet. Haha.

This is my situation exactly, even the times.

  • Some kids just are like that. My 2.5 year old gets up every day at 5, no matter what time she goes to bed. Has been like that since birth. I cannot wait for the day she can make her own breakfast and hang out.

  • I feel your pain.  DS wakes up usually around 5:30, but some days he's up at 5 or 5:15am, happy as a clam.  We've also tried varying his bedtime but nothing seems to work.  We're just going to roll with it.  I'm a SAHM so an early riser means a long day for me!  Would love if DS could sleep until 6:30 or 7!

I hear ya. I'm a WAHM so it's brutal because I have to stay up late working in order to meet my hours. 7 would be HEAVEN!
