questions to ask re: placenta encapsulation

Hi Ladies,

I am beginning the process of finding someone in my area for placenta encapsulation.  Can any BTDT moms point me in the right direction in terms of what questions I should ask to be sure I am finding someone who is adequately qualified to do this?  Especially in the areas of safety and hygiene.  I don't know anyone else personally who has done this so I just don't want to go into this blindly and make a rookie mistake that could end up being harmful.

I'm doing this for the first time myself, but my midwife referred me to someone, maybe that's an option?

Thanks, ladies.  I did get a referral from my midwife, and I have a couple others I am asking for referrals.  I trust my midwife, so perhaps I shouldn't overthink it and just go with her recommendation.  I just wanted to make sure that regardless of who the referral comes from, that I know the right questions to ask to ensure that I am hiring someone reputable.  Thanks again.

I know an encapsulator near Roseville if you want a recommendation.

I would ask what method they use (Chinese, RAW method, etc.) whether they provide a tincture as well, what their turnaround time is, whether they work in their own sterile kitchen or want to work in mine, whether they do pickup from the hospital, and I'd make sure they were CAL-OSHA certified.
